De comeback hadden ze al eerder met bravoure ingeluid. Dankzij fascinerende cd's met bezwerende muziek en verwrongen teksten steeds voortbordurend op hetzelfde elan van die vernieuwer Songs of faith and devotion. Exciter en Playing the Angel, kan je enkele van de soms toch wel hartverscheurende songs evenaren? Vooral nu ze als headliner fungeren voor Werchter Classic, zo'n speelveld van uitgerangeerde Simply Red-groepen. Dan heb je het Wrong. Ondertussen weergalmt door de boxen een bizarre, elektronische hymne waarbij alles lijkt mis te lopen voor het onwillige slachtoffer. Het kan verkeren. En net dat je denkt: 'oké, lekker geschift', komt er ook die gestoorde clip op de proppen. Even dramatisch als Vanilla Sky waarbij de situatie volledig uit de hand loopt. Kunnen we ons masker tijdig afzetten?
